This image gallery is a collection of years of staring in a guide scope eyepiece for hours on end until my neck cramped. I probably looked a like "Quasimodo"
the Bell Ringer dragging into the house at 4:00 in the morning. (I later moved up to a ST-4 auto guider to relieve the neck cramps). There are hundreds more ruined when a jet's blinking lights blipped through or I bumped the scope, for every image shown on this page.

I'm not a purist so I won't hammer you with details, things like light years away, constellations, magnitudes or imaging minutia, this is an interest. Albeit one I take seriously.

But the beauty, mystery and serenity of deep space is addicting.
